MyFleet.Tech ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your business data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our fleet management platform.

Our Multi-Tenant Architecture

MyFleet.Tech uses a multi-tenant architecture with complete data isolation. This means:

  • Separate Database Schemas: Each organization (tenant) has their own isolated database schema. Your data is physically separated from other customers' data at the database level.
  • No Cross-Tenant Access: Users from one organization cannot access, view, or query data belonging to another organization under any circumstances.
  • Isolated Authentication: User accounts and permissions are scoped to your organization only.
  • Dedicated Resources: Your fleet data, maintenance records, job history, and communications are stored in your organization's private schema.

Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address (used for login and notifications)
  • Name and contact information
  • Organization/company name
  • Phone number (optional, for SMS notifications)

Fleet & Operational Data

  • Vehicle and asset information (VINs, license plates, mileage)
  • Maintenance records and job histories
  • Driver assignments and schedules
  • Communication logs (SMS, calls, emails within the platform)

Technical Data

  • IP addresses and browser information for security purposes
  • Usage patterns to improve the platform
  • Error logs for troubleshooting

We Do NOT Sell Your Data

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not monetize your fleet data, operational information, or any personal information through data brokerage or advertising. Your business data belongs to you.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Provide and operate the MyFleet.Tech platform
  • Send transactional notifications (job assignments, maintenance reminders)
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve platform performance and features
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations

Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption at Rest: All data is encrypted when stored
  • Encryption in Transit: All communications use TLS/HTTPS

Third-Party Services

We use select third-party services to provide platform functionality:

  • Amazon Web Services: For secure cloud infrastructure
  • Payment Processors: Stripe or Square for payment handling (we do not store full card numbers)

These services are contractually bound to protect your data and only process it as necessary to provide their services.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legal or legitimate business purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data

We use essential cookies for authentication and security. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

MyFleet.Tech is a business platform and is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
